New Orleans Thanks You

With help from people all over the world, New Orleans and the Gulf South are making strides in rebuilding from the hurricanes that have hit the area over the past several years. While there is still a lot of work to be done, we are grateful for the help we have received.

Organizations and groups of volunteers, both young and old, continue to descend on the region to help with the recovery.  Almost 4 years later, the devastating affects and levee failures during Hurricane Katrina, as well as, Hurricanes Rita, Ike and Gustav are still felt.

With a new community spirit, folks are coming together with ideas on how to improve and make New Orleans and the region better and safer from hurricanes so that all of this effort in rebuilding is not lost in the next storm.

Volunteering their time and bringing with them donations and a spirit of encouragement, we say "Thank You" to the volunteers for helping with our rebuilding.
